A direct evolution of the previous Street Flex, the new Flex Z range has been developed to combine both comfort and performance for sporty drivers. In order to provide the best pricing, engineers at Tein have completely re-designed the Japanese production plant and manufacturing processes. As a result, this offers the best quality/price ratio ever offered from Tein.

The Flex Z suspension kit is Tein's evolution of the Street Flex series, tailored for enthusiasts seeking both performance and comfort. Designed in Japan with optimized production processes, this range delivers an unmatched balance of quality and affordability.

Thanks to its twin-tube configuration using both oil and gas, the Flex Z provides exceptional comfort on uneven roads, along with precise handling at higher speeds. With independent height and preload adjustments, it ensures full damper stroke. The damping system features 16 levels of adjustment and utilizes a temperature-resistant oil formulation.

EDFC compatibility (e.g., part number EDK05-12120) allows electronic damper stiffness adjustment directly from the cabin. This expands the tuning capability to 32 steps with standard EDFC, and up to 64 with EDFC Active.

Each kit includes upper mounts for camber adjustment on McPherson setups. Manufactured in Japan, these coilovers are built to last and resist wear from corrosion, dust, and extreme temperatures. A full 1-year warranty is included.

Flex Z uses sealed dampers that are replaced as full units, offering quick and affordable servicing. Flex A, on the other hand, features rebuildable dampers and can be overhauled through Tein's service network.
